2017 Hope on Goat to benefit Fresh Future Farm
The 8th Annual Hope on Goat benefit at Goat Island Gatherings offers a charming venue affording you the rare opportunity to experience a bivalve bonanza on a small sea island surrounded by miles of undeveloped salt marsh only accessible by boat, all while supporting a good cause.
What: 8th Annual Hope on Goat Oyster Roast Benefit
When: 2-6pm Saturday, March 25, 2017 (Rain or Shine)
Where: Goat Island Gatherings, Goat Island, South Carolina, Channel Marker 116 on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway just north of the Isle of Palms Marina ***Price includes boat shuttle from the Isle of Palms Marina located at 50 41st Avenue, Isle of Palms, SC 29451 (Roundtrip boat shuttles are provided courtesy of Barrier Island Eco Tours)
Admission: $55 each for adults, $20 for children 3-12, children 2 and under free
The Nitty Gritty
FOOD: All you can eat hand-picked oysters steamed over an open fire, locally-caught fish stew, hot dogs, desserts and water
ENTERTAINMENT: Bands include Bourbon & Mead, Southern Flavor and The Distinquished Gentlemen. There will also be a silent auction filled with Lowcountry generosity, and a children’s station with games and activities.
IMPORTANT NOTES: This event is BYOB, and people are permitted to bring their own food. Plenty of seating will be provided. Please do not bring chairs or blankets. Coolers are welcome. Tickets are limited to 175 for this event.
