Thanks to our donors, Fresh Future Farm opened the first USDA grocery store in the Chicora/Cherokee community since Winn Dixie closed in 2005.

Fresh Future Farm’s grocery store accepts cash, debit, and EBT for our seasonal vegetables, fresh eggs, herbs, and fruit along with basic and specialty grocery items to cater to almost any dietary or food allergy needs.
It takes a village to keep our prices affordable and our doors open so ALL are invited to shop with us and support our work. Our grassroots farm store is operated by residents and open to the public 35 (fifty) hours per week so customers can shop at their convenience.
Inspired by Leah Penniman’s award-winning book, Farming While Black, we transitioned to a sliding scale system in February 2019. This is possible thanks to donors, grant funding and shoppers from outside the community who pay fair retail prices. THANK YOU!
PLACEMAKING AT FFF: We received a grant from South Arts to create a mural depicting the history of the Chicora/Cherokee community. We are proud that our very own Anik Hall was up to the task! This fiscal year, FFF becomes the Charleston chapter of the League of Creative Interventionists.

Hours of Operation: Tuesday – Friday from noon – 7 pm (noon – 6 pm fall/winter); Saturdays 7 am – 2 pm
FFF is NOT a U-pick operation.
