FAQ
-
Has Fresh Future Farm been able to buy their land?
Fresh Future Farm remains fully committed to purchasing our land from the City of North Charleston. Thanks to our Kickstarter backers and other generous donors, we also have the monetary resources available in a separate bank account. While we currently operate with a month-to-month lease, our primary focus continues to be meeting the needs of our neighbors in Chicora/Cherokee during the pandemic and beyond.
-
Does FFF accept donated food?
No. The Farm operates a USDA certified grocery store with a mission of giving our customers the freshest, safest products available. To that effect, our team shops to ensure that time and temperature controls are always maintained. FFF does accept gift card donations to Harris Teeter, Sam’s Club, Publix and Bi-Lo.
-
What is the Farm's response to COVID-19?
Customers can shop from outside of our farm store. Everyone should keep a distance of 6 feet from other patrons and wear a mask. If you don't have one, we will provide you with one. We encourage the use of hand sanitizer and sanitize common areas between customer visits.

Pronouns are how you refer to someone if you are not using their name. In the sentence, “The children love their toys”, their is the pronoun. Other common pronouns are she/her and he/him. Pronouns are important because they are used to express identity. When you use people’s correct pronouns, you are showing them respect.

Does Fresh Future Farm deliver or sell produce wholesale?
Because of the small size of our current farm space, we focus our efforts on those who reside in the Chicora/Cherokee and surrounding neighborhood. We do not ship our produce. We halted grocery delivery in October 2020.
